Pottoman is designed considering the ritual of ‘Cooking Turkish Coffee’ which has a very important place in Turkish Culture. Traditionally, Turkish Coffee is cooked on open fire in a copper pot and best served foamy. In respect of that, Pottoman speeds up and facilitates the cooking process and allows user to make coffee independent from kitchens. Water level is visible on the body of the pot saving user from measuring water with coffee cup, and the resistance design enables coffee to be cooked rapidly with the accurate foam. Keeping the user safety above all, Pottoman automatically turns itself off when entire water in the pot is consumed or the pot is overheated.

Pottoman comes in two alternatives: one with inox body and the other with plastic. The design of its outer look and the mechanical parts are realized in the premises of DesignUM. The modern design of the product is a harmony of current design trends and the traditional copper pots form.
